Kumho Asiana Group said yesterday that it hopes to post record high sales this year of 21 trillion won ($22.2 billion) mainly bolstered by its takeover last year of the nation’s No. 2 builder Daewoo Engineering and Construction Co. After its 2006 acquisition Kumho Asiana leaped from 11th place to 8th place among Korean conglomerates.
